In January 2025 we closed down our Facebook history page & account.  Unfourtunatly images from the archive were being used without permission with inaccurate descriptions distorting history. These nostalgias feel good Facebook pages seem to care little about the history of the image as long as a memory is triggered, and followers are added. 
I have started a YouTube channel that will post historically fact-based vintage photography of Houston and the surrounding area.  The collection also extends to reveal a rare glimpse into early Texas oil.
Most of the vintage & historic photography of Houston will be found under the Community tab on the You Tube Sloane Gallery Home Page.
